Bipartisan Roundtable on Regional Security in Latin America and the Caribbean

Recent Activity

At the House Democracy Partnership, we believe that strong, collaborative legislative institutions are key to regional stability and global security. We were pleased to work with ParlAmericas to host a bipartisan roundtable that brought together U.S. Members of Congress and legislative leaders from 20 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean. The discussion focused on the current state of security in the Western Hemisphere and strategies to address cross-border challenges such as transnational organized crime, drug trafficking, and human trafficking.

Grateful to Ranking Member Dina Titus (D-NV), Rep. Neal Dunn (R-FL), Rep. Robin Kelly (D-IL), Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE), and Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-IL) for sharing their insights.
