Budget Process and Parliamentary Research in Peru

From April 25-27, 2023, the House Democracy Partnership (HDP) conducted a Technical Assistance Consultancy (TAC) in Lima, Peru, collaborating with the Congress of Peru’s Department of Parliamentary Research and Documentation (DIDP). This initiative focused on various aspects, including parliamentary research support, budgetary assessments, scientific research, relationships between support agencies and legislators, and effective practices for establishing institutional trust with essential congressional stakeholders.
