Parliamentary Ethics Framework Seminar

From February 6-8, 2023, a delegation of members of the Kosovo Assembly visited Washington, DC as part of a U.S.-based study mission on parliamentary ethics framework development. During their trip, they met with prominent figures in the U.S. ethics system, including representatives from the U.S. House Committee on Ethics, the Office of Congressional Ethics, the Office of Government Ethics, and the Ethics Office of the Department of Health and Human Services. The primary goal of this program was to provide members of Kosovo’s Working Group on Code of Ethics with essential tools, guidance, and lessons regarding the significance of ethics frameworks. The mission aimed to educate them about the methods for adopting these frameworks in government and parliament, emphasizing their importance in ethical governance.
